Valerie and her instructors truly love what they teach and their enthusiasm is passed along to their students. Valerie also consistently brings in guest instructors from around the world to give her students variety in instruction. She keeps her prices affordable and helps beginning dancers develop a love for swing.
Valerie and the other instructors from Get Hep Swing are all highly proficient and thorough dancers!!! They make learning how to dance so much fun!!! We are so blessed to have them right here in Cleveland!!!
Get Hep Swing is the only dance studio in Cleveland where you can learn to dance from international dance champions. Valerie Salstrom performs and teaches all over the world. We are extremely fortunate to have a talent like Valerie in Cleveland who works so hard to spread the love of the dance.
Great instruction at a great price. I have been taking lessons and special workshops with Valerie and other GHS, all of whom are super friendly people and great dancers. Plus, Get Hep sponsors the best dances in the area, with the best bands and large crowd turnouts every time. I always felt welcome, I learned a lot of great dance moves, and have made a lot of wonderful friends along the way.

I first met Valerie Salstrom at "All Balboa Weekend" 2003. Thanks to Valerie and others this annual event has grown to one of the best organized and "tons of fun" event on my calendar each year. Valerie loves dance, and it shows in what she does.

Get Hep has hosted several international Balboa dance competitions which have brought thousands of people to Cleveland and its hotels and restaurants from every corner of the world. Valerie Salstrom is one of the most professional, approachable, friendly, and dedicated businesswomen in Northeast Ohio. She has grown this business from the ground up and brought loads of fun, skills, and social connections to people of all ages in Cleveland and all over the world. Her work with youth and schools in the area is especially commendable, as is her dedication to keeping the traditional steps, energy, history, and music of the swing era alive.

I have always enjoyed taking classes and private swing lessons with Valerie because she is enthusiastic, polite and friendly. She is a great instructor because she takes time to go over details and helps you correct even the smallest problems that can hinder your dancing.
