Bookman & Son Fine Jewelry

Bookman & Son Fine Jewelry started as J&L Jewelry Manufacturing Co. in 1984 by Jeff and Linda Bookman, specializing in repair work for jewelry stores. Over a few years we began to find a niche in special order work, designing and manufacturing pieces for people who wanted something different, often reusing their own gold and diamonds.
In 1993 the business moved to a retail location in Brecksville under the name J&L Gemworks, doing expert repairs on location, redisigning old jewelry into new designs, and stocking a growing inventory.
Our son, Josh, entered the business in 2003. Josh's friendly and outgoing personality has been a great asset to us and now dominates the store. In August 2004 the name of our store was changed from J&L Gemworks to Bookman and Son Fine Jewelry. With Jeff still doing the repairs and manufacturing on premises our store has a fresh new look, different styles, and ideal prices.
