If M. Lang were like other men's retailers you'd expect here to be like there. There is a "wearhouse" Where dust gathers. Linoleum yellows. Where there are styles from Pabst Blue Ribbon days. Where the Selection is poor (unless, of course, you are of freakish proportions). Where Rusty, your salesman is dressed in an obnoxious plaid and grimaces half-in-the-bag self-satisfaction like Kramer's jackass friends on Seinfeld. Where prices are too high for last year's fashions. In philosophy, as well as style, here is definitely different from there. And that is why it is so successful.
M. Lang exemplifies sensibility. Where 100% wool three-button suits are priced with a value-based formula. Where salespeople are truly helpful. Stopped there one day on a lunch break and bought my husband a shirt and slacks he needed for an event that evening - he liked the style and quality so much he now goes there on his own!!
