Prana Yoga & Dance Studio

Prana Yoga and Dance studio is a family owned business that opened its doors May 24, 2004. Because we are a family owned we share the desire and know the importance of offering classes that bring the entire family together. We offer a wide selection of classes and workshops in dance and in yoga for all levels and all ages! It is our hope that those who enter through our doors will experience both the joy of movement, and of stillness. Through dance and yoga, we rediscover our inner-selves, unify our body, mind and soul. So whether this is your first experience at Prana or a long time member, we welcome you and are grateful for the opportunity to be a part of your journey.

In September of 2010, Prana relocated to a new location. Still conveniently located on Broadview Road Prana now has two large rooms for dance and yoga. Check out our website for a complete list of classes, with new classes and workshops being offered all the time!

Yoga teaches us to be in the Present moment... there is no greater place to be than right here, right now. The amazing thing about yoga is that your practice is always evolving and changing, so it never gets boring. Although the poses themselves do not change, your relationship to them will. Anyone can start a yoga practice, even if you don't feel like you are very flexible or very strong. These things will develop over time.
Another great thing about thinking about "your practice" is that it encourages the noncompetitive spirit of yoga. One of the most difficult, but ultimately most liberating things about yoga is letting go of the ego and accepting that no one is better than anyone else. Everyone is just doing their best on any given day.

Prana offers classes for age 4 through adult.
Combo Classes, Jazz, Tap, Ballet, Hip-Hop, Contemporary,
Adult Classes & Workshops including Belly Dancing, Hip-Hop, Ballet, Ballroom
Registration is on going and drop-ins are welcome.
